Please study the maps/descriptions and be ready to talk about which route we'd like to do.

Please note that you MUST start training for these treks now!  You should be getting out and walking with small day packs (4 liters of water and the 10 essentials(http://www.scoutingmagazine.org/issues/0403/d-outs.html)) at least once a week.  If you have a treadmill/elyptical you can use those as well.  This will help build up endurance and get you ready to these treks.  If anyone wants to get together and do some day hikes in the evening/weekend just send out an email/call a few days ahead of time to see who can attend.  There are plenty of great places to day hike that are only minutes away and provide interesting sites and challenging walks.  I have many maps and resources to help plan day hikes, just ask.
