Burlington Troop 727, Did you know...
Leon Wallace, is known as the "most advanced boy scout in the world". Leon achieved 61 merit badges in September 1921. At the time, this was the most merit badges a scout could earn. His last merit badge was Archery. He earned his Eagle Scout at age 16.
At age 17 he enrolled in Pre-Law at University of Illinois and in 1933 he became a lawyer in Indiana. Later in 1945, Leon became a law professor at the University of Indiana. Lastly, Leon was appointed the Dean of Law at the University of Indiana.
As Leon proved, Boy Scouts can be a great launch pad for life.
